Abuja,March 1,2017 (NAN) The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has fixed March 29 for hearing of the suit instituted by one John David against POW Technologies Ltd, seeking payment of salary arrears since 2013.

David, former employee of POW sued the company over alleged unpaid salaries since 2013 till date.
The claimant also sued one Gody Duru- Oguzie as co-respondent in the suit.

At the resumed hearing on Tuesday, the case could not go on because claimant’s counsel, Mrs Funmi Quadri, informed the court of a pending application before the court.

She said that the claimant needed time to respond to the respondents’ processes.

Since counsel to the respondent, Mr D.Musa did not oppose the motion, the judge, Justice Ebeye Isele, adjourned the suit till March 29 for hearing.

The claimant, besides seeking the court’s intervention for the payment of the salary arrears, wants the court to compel POW to him special damages as well as the cost of litigation.(NAN)
