The Northern Co-coordinator of the foundation, Rev. John Hayab said during a visit to Kaninkon Chiefdom that the group was sad about the development.

He urged the traditional council not to allow the recent attack to derail the process for peace being under taken  by the foundation.

The Chief of Kaninkon, Mallam Tanko Tete, assured the foundation that the chiefdom would not be deterred from exploring peaceful ways of restoring  lasting peace to the area.

Tete who said his people were peace loving, condenmed the renewed attacks  and called on relevant agencies to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators.

The chief commended the Federal and Kaduna State Governments for deploying security operatives to calm the situation and advocated for more surveillance to track down the perpetrators.

He commended the efforts of GPF Nigeria in identifying with the chiefdom in its period of trial and urged it not to relent.[NAN]
