Abuja, Nov. 28, 2017 (NAN) The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and haze weather conditions over most parts of the central states of the country on Wednesday.
NiMet’s Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Tuesday also predicted day and night temperatures in the range of 27 to 36 and 12 to 18 degrees celsius.
The agency predicted that southern states would experience cloudy morning over the coastal cities with localised thunderstorms over Calabar, Portharcourt, Warri and Yenegoa in the afternoon and evening period.
It also predicted partly cloudy skies over the inland cities throughout the day with day and night temperatures in the range of 32 to 36 and 19 to 24 degrees celsius.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions with day and night temperatures in the range of 30 to 35 and 15 to 20 degrees celsius.
It added that “sunny and hazy conditions are expected over the north and the central states.
“However, cloudy to partly cloudy situation will prevail over the southern cities with chances of isolated thunderstorms in few places around the coast in the next 48 hours.” (NAN)
