Dismissal
Abuja, Jan. 25, 2017 (NAN) The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has adjourned till March 6 the case of alleged wrongful and unlawful dismissal of Akinrinde Samuel, a former employee of Spectranet Company Ltd.
The judge, Justice Edith Agbakoba, adjourned the case at the instance of the parties in the suit.
Samuel joined, Dibajiyofi Mahanta, Head of Operation, Abuja office of the company, Zakir Husseini, and Vocab Consulting Ltd., as co-respondents.
The claimant is challenging his alleged dismissal from the company in August 2015 and asked the court to award him damages for the alleged breach of contract.
He alleged that the company did not comply with the terms of employment of contract before his dismissal.
Samuel prayed the court to prevail on the company to pay his entitlements as well as cost of litigation.
The claimant was represented by Mr Uche Amulu, while Mr O. Sokale, represented the defendants. (NAN)
