Kano, June 26, 2024 (NAN) One Muazzam Musa, 35, on Wednesday, appeared before a Sharia Court in Kano State charged with stealing a motor vehicle’s air condition condenser worth N200,000.
Musa, who resides in Walalambe Hotoro, Nasarawa Local Government in Kano, is standing trial on two counts of alleged criminal trespass and theft.
The Prosecution Counsel, Insp Abdullahi Wada, told the court that the case was reported on June 24 at Fagge Police Station, Kano, by the complainant, Idi Shua’ibu.
Wada alleged that the defendant allegedly trespassed into the complainant’s premises at Mazan Kwarai Quarters in Kano municipality and stole his vehicle’s air condition condenser.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Judge, Malam Umar Lawal-Abubakar, admitted the defendants to bail in the sum of N50,000 with one reliable surety.
Lawal-Abubakar adjourned the matter until July 15 for trial. (NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
