Abuja, Jan.11, 2018(NAN) The Police on Thursday arraigned two men- Mamuda Yusuf, and Sani Abdullahi, in a Wuse Zone 2 Senior Magistrates’ Court, Abuja, for allegedly stealing nine iron rods.

The defendants who reside at Apo, Abuja, are standing trial on a two-count charge of criminal conspiracy and theft.

The prosecutor, Adama Musa, told the court that the defendants were arrested at Galadimawa junction, Abuja, by a team of policemen on Dec.27.

Musa said that the defendants were conveying the nine iron rods in a van when they were arrested.
