“The reason is that Bauchi is endowed with a lot of potentialities that we want to showcase to the world.

”We also want to showcase the rich cultural heritage that we have.

“We have a lot of economic resources that are in commercial quantity.

”So, Bauchi can be tagged a home of solid minerals, but many don’t know that.

“Apart from our tourist potentials, we have solid minerals, we produce Agro based products that can be marketed and used to manufacture a lot of things.

“So that is why we want the world to come and see what we have in Bauchi State.

“The bounce back is of course not unconnected to the fact that we have regained our freedom, as peace has returned to the North East sub-region.

“In the past you cannot talk of trade fair because of cases of insurgency.’’
