34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items, to arrive Lagos ports

Lagos, April 27, 2017 (NAN) Thirty four ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from April 27 to May 15.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication – `Shipping Position’, – a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.

NPA said that the ships contained buck wheat, general cargo, base oil, frozen fish, steel products, bulk corn and containers laden with goods.

The document noted that 11 ships had arrived the ports and were  waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, ethanol, containers, aviation fuel and petrol.

NAN reports that 18 other ships are at the ports discharging empty containers, bulk wheat, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, diesel, yellow maize, soya beans, bulk fertiliser, containers and petrol. (NAN)
