Attackers
Ilorin, March 29, 2017 (NAN) Coach of Gombe United FC, Manu Garba, says he will use the mid-season transfer window to shop for attackers.
Garba told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Ilorin on Wednesday that he needed to reinforce the attack if the team was to compete well with others.
“We could have won today against Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Ilorin FC, if not because we were wasteful.
“We must reinforce the team with good attackers who can finish off well.
“We had been creating a lot of scoring chances but the boys could not convert them to goals,” Garba said.
The former U-17 World Cup winning coach said he would now go back and address some of the grey areas noticed in the match.(NAN)
