Minna, Jan.11, 2017 (NAN) Four men were on Thursday arraigned in a Minna Magistrates’ Court for allegedly constituting public nuisance.

The defendants: Abdulmajid Mohammed, Aminu Mohammed, Suleiman Usman and Ibrahim Usman, are facing a count charge of disturbance of public peace.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Moses Emberga, had told the court that on Jan.8, the defendants, armed with dangerous weapons engaged in physical fight in an open place, thereby causing disturbance of peace.

Emberga said that the offence contravened Section 118 of the Penal Code.

The defendants, however, all pleaded not guilty, while the magistrate, Maryam Kings, granted them bail in the sum of N20, 000 each and two sureties each in like sum.

She adjourned the matter until Jan.31 for further mention. (NAN)
