Lagos, June 13, 2017 (NAN) A total of 25 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from June 13 to June 23, down from 31 ships expected on Monday.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, `Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Tuesday in Lagos.
NPA said that the ships contained buck wheat, bulk fertiliser, general cargo, bulk coke, bulk sugar, base oil, diesel, petrol and containers laden with goods.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that five ships had arrived the ports, waiting to berth with bulk fertiliser, buck wheat and petrol.
NAN reports that 10 other ships are at the ports discharging buck wheat, bulk gypsum, frozen fish, bulk sugar, general cargo, bulk fertiliser and containers.
NAN also reports that no petroleum products was being discharged at Lagos ports on Tuesday. (NAN)
