Mapwanya finished a total of 4 over par for the four rounds which was good enough to win by 2 shots.

His play in the first two rounds (72, 71), when he opened up a four-shot lead, served him in good stead as his closing two rounds (75, 74) were unimpressive.

Ghanaian Vincent Torgah who had a 73 and Cameroonian Pristhy Nji who shot level par for the last round both ended in joint second position.

Issa Nlareb, also of Cameroon, who shot a 75 in the fourth round for a total of 299, finished third.
