Gusau, Dec. 28, 2016 (NAN) The Zamfara Amusement park in Gusau has recorded an unprecedented patronage during this year’s Christmas festivity, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.

This was disclosed to NAN by an official of the park, Malam Musa Abubakar, in Gusau on Wednesday.

He said that fun seekers started trouping in to the park from the Christmas day through Tuesday, from 12 noon to 6 p.m. daily.

“Although the gate fees is N100 per person, but we gave discount to family of four and above by allowing one of the family members to go in free.

“Both the children and adult patronised us, as the young ones were playing at the play ground with the toys, the adults sat on their mats chatting and relaxing,’’ he said.

He explained that the money realised during the festivity would be used to maintain the park and the balance remitted to the state government as revenue.

NAN also reports that the amusement park in Gusau is the only recreational centre in the state capital where people visit during festival periods and holidays. (NAN)
