Minna, May 14, 2018 (NAN) The El-Amin International School, Minna, is to collaborate with the Federal University of Technology, Minna, in the area of manpower training and students’ enrollment.
Mr Yakubu Alhaji, the Head Teacher of the primary section of the school, made this disclosure when he led some school officials on a courtesy visit to the vice-chancellor of the university, Prof. Abdullahi Bala.
Alhaji said that the re-training of the school manpower would go a long way in enhancing qualitative education and academic excellence.
A statement signed by Mrs Lydia Legbu, the institution’s Public Relations Officer on Monday in Minna, thanked the vice-chancellor for the warm reception accorded the delegation.
Responding, Bala noted that both the university and the EI-Amin International School, were committed to academic excellence and global best practices in education.
He said that the university was ready to collaborate with the school.
The vice-chancellor added that the university was committed to the provision of quality education, as evident in its ranking as the 7th in Nigeria and 45th Africa.
According to the vice-chancellor, the institution is not resting on its oars, but working toward enhancing its global ranking. (NAN)
