Abuja, Feb. 23, 2017 (NAN) A 22-year-old man, Abdul Suleiman, was on Thursday arraigned in a Karmo Grade I Area Court, Abuja, for allegedly stealing industrial machines worth N260,000.

The accused, a tailor and resident of Defence College Quarters, Gwarimpa, Abuja, is facing a one-count charge.

The prosecutor, Florence Auhioboh, told the court that one Njideka Maduakwu, of same address with the defendant, reported the matter at the Gwarimpa Police Station on Feb. 16.

Auhioboh said that the complainant alleged that on the same date, she discovered that her worker had stolen one industrial designing machine and two industrial sewing machines, all valued at N260,000.

The judge, Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
