Kano, Jan. 13, 2017 (NAN) The Proprietor of Tarbiyya Islamic School Kano, Malam Nura Sani, has tasked parents on moral up bringing to their children.
Sani stressed the need for parents to ensure the inculcation of good moral virtues on their children and wards on Friday at the Qur’anic graduation.
“Some parents usually neglect their roles as parents and expect schools to provide moral up bringing to their children.
“Parents are the first school for any child and they are expected to provide a solid moral foundation for the children, which shall guide them through school,’’ he said.
He appealed to mothers and fathers to play effective equal roles in shaping the morality of their children as it is more of their responsibility than the school.
Sani urged the graduating students to be guided by the teachings of the Holy Qur’an which they have memorised.
“There is no point in learning the Qur’an if the learner is not going to utilise its teachings, which is a complete guide to life for mankind,” he said.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) also report that no fewer than 230 males and females graduated from the school. (NAN)
