Peace
Aisha Ahmed
Kano, Dec. 28, 2016 (NAN) Sheikh Sagir Ahmad, an Islamic scholar, has called on leaders of Islamic sects to bring their subjects under control and teach them peace as the real message of Islam.
He also charged Muslims to ensure peaceful coexistence among sects in Islam.
Ahmad made the call at a Maulud session organised by Ado Bayero Islamic Institute for Women in Kano on Wednesday.
He said the prophet who brought the religion was a man of peace and believed in dialogue even with people of other faith.
Ahmad stressed that the Qur’an has provided all solutions if well researched “hence there is no need for misunderstanding.’’
