An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court which gave the ruling, asked the accused, 37-year-old Rashidi Raji to provide two sureties as part of the bail conditions.
The Chief Magistrate, Mrs Y.O. Aje-Afunwa, said the sureties must be gainfully employed and also show evidence of tax payment to the Lagos State Government.

“The accused used a master key to open the apartment of the complainant to burgle the house but unfortunately for him, he met the owner at home.
“Awosika, who was taken aback seeing Raji in his house, raised an alarm and the accused was apprehended and handed over to the police.”
The offences contravened Sections 306 and 409 of the Criminal Law of Lagos, 2011.
