Minna, Feb. 5, 2018 (NAN) The Niger Chapter of Buhari Campaign Organisation on Monday said it embarked on house-to-house sensitisation of eligible residents to participate in the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) in the state.

Alhaji Isa Rijau, Coordinator of the Organisation in the state, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna.

He said that the Women Wing of the Organization had set modalities that would ensure all eligible women acquired their permanent voters’ cards.

Rijau explained that it was only by so doing that credible leaders would be elected in meeting the desired political change through good governance.

“The campaign will enable those who had reached 18 years of age to participate in the exercise.

“We have reached out to our 25 local government coordinators across the state to ensure full mobilisation of all and sundry.

“We will visit markets, community halls and public places to ensure full participation of eligible residents,” he said.

He also said that the organisation would reach out to houses that had registered but have not collected their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to come for collection in the commission’s offices across the 25 local government areas of the state.

The coordinator said that mobilising eligible residents to acquire PVC would enable them to participate in all the elections. (NAN)
