MoU

Abeokuta, July 10, 2018 (NAN) The Ogun State Water Corporation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the CLACCS ASSOCIATES on the distribution of clean and regular water supply in the state.
Signing the MoU at the Corporation’s office in Abeokuta on Tuesday , the General Manager of the corporation, Alhaja Monsurat Agboola said the MoU would be of immense benefit to all areas of the state.
“The signing will strengthen the state’s water sector.
“Asides from improving on the law guiding the supply of water to the people, the company will on regular basis, interface with the state government to further strengthen water policy,’’ she said.
In her remarks, the Managing Director of CLACCS Associates, Mrs. Tanwa Koya said: “The main focus of the MoU is to further strengthen the existing law in the interest of Ogun residents.
“Particularly on the regular supply of potable water to the nooks and crannies of the state, the company will do the needful to ensure that it delivers on the mandate.
“ The MoU is also set to achieve good performance in the water corporation , boost the revenue base of the state and increase coverage of services,’’ she said.
Koya urged all departments in the agency to support and assist the company to make the contract a huge success.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 12 companies had bid for the contract in May 2017; six were shortlisted and CLACCS ASSOCIATES eventually won the contract.(NAN)
