Screening

Lafia, Feb. 7, 2017(NAN) The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has advised the nine persons nominated for appointment as commissioners to appear for screening on Monday, Feb. 13
According to the Speaker, Alhaji Ibrahim Balarabe-Abdullahi, the the screening would end on Feb. 15.
He advised the nominees to submit their CVs to the House on or before Friday, Feb. 11.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), reports that the Speaker gave the advice after the Majority Leader, Mr. Tanko Tunga (APC-Awe North), read the names of the nominees.
“This is a message from Gov.Tanko Al-Makura. He is requesting the House to screen and confirm his nine commissioner nominees to enable him provide the much needed service to the people,” he said.
The nominees include Prof. Jonathan Yakubu, Mrs. Mary Enwongulu, Alhaji Mohammed Jamil-Zakari, Mr Bamaiyi Anangba and Tanko Zubairu.
“Others included are Mr Wada Yahaya, Dr. Abdulkarim Kana, Mr Ayuba Ayinaje and Abdulhamid Kwara.(NAN)
