Mr Phillip Ayuba, the NSCDC Commandant made the appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Monday.

He said that such information would help security officers tackle security threats in the state.

He disclosed that the command had taken proactive measures to confront any form of security threat in and outside the metropolis.

Ayuba explained that the corps has deployed personnel to all identified flash points in the state to arrest hoodlums.

He solicited the support of traditional and religious leaders in mobilising residents to support security agencies with vital information to make the state more safer to live in.

“We have expanded our scope to rural areas to get intelligence information about movement of cattle rustlers, kidnappers and all form of criminalities.

“All that we require is information about movement of dubious characters within the society, ” he said.

Ayuba called on officers and men of the command to continue to put in their best, warning that those found wanting would be punished accordingly.( NAN)
