Abuja, Jan. 19, 2017 (NAN) The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted sunny and hazy weather conditions over the central States of the country on Friday.
NiMet made the prediction in the Weather Outlook by its Central Forecast Office in Abuja on Thursday.
It added that the region would have day and night temperature of 31 to 37 degrees Celsius and 13 to 18 degrees Celsius respectively.
The agency predicted that Southern states would experience cloudy conditions over the coastal cities with prospects of thundery showers over Yenegoa, Calabar, Portharcourt and Lagos in the and evening hours.
It also predicted that the region would have day and night temperatures of 34 to 36 degrees Celsius and 23 to 25 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience sunny and hazy conditions in the next 24 hours.
“The region will have day and Night temperature of 34 to 36 degrees Celsius and 13 to 19 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Sunny and hazy conditions are to prevail over the northern cities down to the central cities and partly to cloudy to cloudy conditions are expected over the southern cities,” NiMet predicted. (NAN)
