Eriomala highlighted the roles of culture to include, promotion of peace among the diverse ethnic groups in the country through interaction and appreciation of their culture.

“It is by inculcating the culture of non-violence in the citizenry that we give the citizenry a sense of cultural direction, thereby promoting our culture.’’

According to him, the programmes in the institute focus cultural identity, national pride, social awareness and cultural education to enhance peaceful coexistence among the people.

“We encourage the appreciation and use of the Nigerian languages, dresses, cuisine and music.

“It also gives the students a platform to understand their culture and promote creative arts that could help them to imbibe the culture of peaceful co-existence and unity, irrespective of tribe and religion”.
