Ibadan, July 10, 2017 (NAN) The wife of Oyo state governor, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, has donated a 32-seater Coaster bus for the use of the pupils, staff and ‎management of  Bodija International School, Ibadan, her alma-mater.

In her speech at the occasion, Ajimobi, urged ‎well-meaning Nigerians to explore ways of adding value to their alma mater and to the education sector in general.

Ajimobi, who was represented by Mrs Jumoke Ologbenla, her Special Assistant on Projects, said she was only giving back to an institution that gave her solid foundation.

She noted with delight that over the years, the school had moulded the lives of several thousands of pupils and set them off in the right academic path.‎
‎
Ajimobi, who described education as “the key to unlocking the vast potentials’’ in an individual, said that money spent on any educational institution is investment on the lives of the beneficiaries.

The governor’s wife is the ‎founder of Educate a rural child project’ designed to improve the standard of education in the rural areas in Oyo State.
‎
Responding on behalf of the school, the proprietress, Mrs Aina Eso, expressed delight at the gesture and assured that the bus would be put to judicious use.

She appealed to other philanthropic members of the society to emulate the governor’s wife by supporting education.  (NAN)
