Lagos, July 25, 2018 (NAN) A 25-year-old man, Uchenna Okoye, who allegedly attacked a woman and snatched her bag and watch,

Okoye is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and theft to which he pleaded not guilty.
He was, however, granted bail on the sum of N50,000.
Police Prosecutor Oluwafemi Adeleye had told the court that the accused committed the offences on July 18 about 5. 50 a.m. opposite

He said the accused snatched the watch and bag of Mrs Charity Onyekwera which contained her phone and ATM cards.

The offences contravened Sections 287 (5), (a) and 411 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015.
Section 287 stipulates three years imprisonment while Section 411 provides two years imprisonment for conspiracy.
