Abuja, March 26, 2018 (NAN) An FCT High Court on Monday remanded a 23-year -old man, Chizoba Umeh, also known as `Star Boy’ in prison for alleged culpable homicide.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to the two count charge.
The prosecutor, Mr Malic Taiwo told the court that the defendant committed the alleged offence on April 6, 2017.
He said that Umeh hit one Emeka Eneke, 49, with a hard object on the head and stabbed him severally with a knife and an axe.
The offence, he said, contravened section 221 (b) of the Penal Code and is punishable by death.
Justice Peter Kekemeke adjourned the case till May 21 for hearing. [NAN]
