Benin, Jan. 23, 2017 (NAN) An Oredo Chief Magistrates’ Court, Benin, on Monday ordered the remand of one Umaru Makau in prison over alleged theft of gear box of a Nissan Altima car valued at N5, 000.

He told the court that contrary to the accused claim that the gear box was unserviceable, it was in good working condition as at the time it was stolen.
According to the prosecutor, the offence contravened Section 390 of the Criminal Code, Cap 48, of the defunct Bendel State Law. (NAN)
