Kuala Lumpur, May 4, 2017 (Xinhua/NAN) Tourists arrival from China to Malaysia is likely to hit three-million in 2017, Malaysian Tourism Minister Nazri Aziz said on Thursday.
He said the ministry was confident that Malaysia would be able to attract three million Chinese tourists this year.
According to him, there has been a significant increase of inbound Chinese tourists in the first three months of the year.
Speaking during a tourism event, the minister said Chinese tourists had flocked Malaysia’s Sabah state to enjoy sky and beach.
Malaysia’s famous tropical fruit of durian had also attracted Chinese tourists.
