Lafia, April 13, 2018 (NAN) Lottery Trust Fund of Nigeria (LTFN) on Friday donated first aid boxes and equipment to 10 secondary schools in Nasarawa.
Kanor Bankole, the Coordinator of the organisation in charge of North-Central Zone, said in Lafia
that the gesture was aimed at bringing health closer to students.
He said “the first aid boxes will go a long way toward improving health condition of students.
“For now, the donation is to cover only 10 selected secondary schools in the state and l appeal that the boxes and equipment be put into proper use.”
Nasarawa State Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Tijjani Ahmed, who received the items,
expressed gratitude to LTFN for the gesture and promised to use it for the purpose is was meant for.
He warned principals of the benefiting schools against diversion. (NAN)
