Ilorin, Feb 1, 2018 (NAN) The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) says  it will generate N120 million revenue in 2018.

Alhaji Hammed Olufadi, its General Manager, made the pledge in a statement in Ilorin on Thursday.

He said that the target was achievable with transparency, accountability and effective participation of staff and general public.

Olufadi said the agency would soon commence distribution of bills to billboard owners.

He urged the people to be law abiding by paying their annual rates as and when due to avoid embarrassment through removal of billboards.

“The agency usually takes its time to distribute bills and payment notice to shop owners, clients and other stakeholders and follow it with enforcement notice before enforcement proper”, he said.

Olufadi said that the agency was working tirelessly despite the economic situation in the country to ensure that people complied with its regulation for easy revenue generation for government.

He said funds generated by the agency were being channelled towards delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.(NAN)
