Kano State Servicom to partner NGOs for effective service delivery

Kano, April 5,2017(NAN) The Kano State Servicom Directorate says it will partner with non-governmental organizations and individuals to improve the quality of service delivery in the State.

This is contained in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Directorate, Alhaji Sunusi Abdullahi and
made available to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday.

According to the statement,the Permanent Secretary of the Directorate, Alhaji Abdullahi Musa, stated this during a courtesy visit to him by a non-governmental organization, Partnership to Engage, Reform and Learn (PERL) a DFID programme.

Musa commended the PERL for its contributions to the government service delivery adding that the Servicom will collaborate with the agency to initiate more programmes that will enhance effective and efficient public service in the State.

Earlier, the Reform Manager of PERL, Malam Auwalu Hamza , thanked the Management of Servicom Directorate for their keen interest to improve service delivery and described the Directorate as agent of change in the civil service.

Hamza assured the PERL support to the Directorate in the areas of Budgeting, Data coalition, training and sensitization exercise, among others.(NAN)
