Ilorin, May 16, 2017 (NAN) The Technical Committee of the maiden JAMB Tertiary Institutions Football competition will meet on Wednesday with the Directors of Sports of tertiary institutions in Kwara.
The meeting, according to the Chairman of the committee, Malam Tunde Kazeem, will deliberate on the modalities for selecting the two Kwara representatives for the national finals of the competition.
The meeting will also determine the date, venue (s) and the draws for the play-offs, Kazeen, who is also the Director of Sports in the state said.
The institutions expected at the meeting are Kwara State University (KWASU), Crown Hill University, Eiyenkorin, Landmark University, Omu-Aran, Oro, Ilorin, Lafiagi, Muideen Colleges of Education and that of Ilemona, in Oyun Local Government Area.
Others are Kwara State Polytechnic and Federal Polytechnic, Offa and the University of Ilorin that has qualified for the final following their success at the just-concluded Nigeria University Games Association (NUGA) Games in Makurdi. (NAN)
