Salary
Abuja, Jan.18, 2017 (NAN) Mr Peter Hallebach, a former employee of Travelfix Company Ltd., has sued the company over alleged unpaid one month salary.
Hallebach joined the Managing Director of the company, Samuel Ajose, as a defendant in the suit.
The German is asking for damages from the company for alleged breach of contract as well as general damages as a result of expenses incurred by the breach.
When the case came up for mention at the National Industrial Court, Abuja, on Wednesday, counsel to the defendants, Mr F. Odeyade, told the court that he had a pending application.
Counsel to the plaintiff, Mr Kelechi Oparaku, told the court that he would not oppose the application.
“Despite glaring issues raised by the defendants, we will still oblige them to go ahead with their application,”
Oparaku, however, said that he would reply to the issues raised by the defendants.
Justice Edith Agbakoba adjourned the case till March 6 for hearing in the pending application. (NAN)
