Former Bermuda senator assures Nigeria working towards greatness

Abuja, Jan. 6, 2017 (NAN) A former Bermuda Senator, Dr Cindy Trimm, has said that the present economic challenges faced by Nigeria was a step towards unravelling its greatness.
Trimm, who made this known at an empowerment programme in Abuja on Friday, said though the country was going through trying times, it would get out of it stronger.
According to her, the country has potentials that stand it out among emerging countries of the world.
Trimm, who is also a motivational speaker, said that in no distant time, the Nigerian brand would become an international brand.
“The emerging economies are Nigeria, Egypt and Kenya. That means the world sees that this nation is next.
“Just like you have made in China, Japan, God is changing the brand value of Nigeria.
“The next thing we are going to hear is `Made in Nigeria,’’ she said.
She tasked Nigerians to take opportunity of the current economic situation to discover their potentials for individual growth and national development.
She called on the citizens to begin to do things differently in order to get better results.
The former senator further called for people to avoid procrastination.
She also urged people to disregard other people’s opinions about their visions and missions while striving to make a difference in the world.
Trimm equally urged the citizens to be focused as well as re-direct their energy towards things that would stand them out.
“A lot of us think of energy so that we can exercise or so that we can move from point A to point B.
“But energy has to be expressed through a conduit and converted into wealth.
“You are a wealth creator that means you need the energy to create wealth.
“If God has made you a bio-electrical and a bio-chemical being that means right now you have energy that is so diffused that your wealth refused to come.
“If you are all over the place without disciplining your energy and forcing it to express itself in one or two ways you will never amass the wealth that you are wired to amass.
“Venus and Serena have disciplined their energy all their lives, they converted their energy into wealth,’’ she said. (NAN)
