Abuja, Feb. 28, 2018 (NAN) A Lagos based educational outfit, Voguenet Integrated Technology Ltd., (VITL) has introduced a video e-learning website www.mcaclasses.com for students in senior secondary school students in Nigeria.

The Managing Director of VITL, Mr Taiwo Popoola, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday said the website was aimed at making secondary school students in sciences, commercial and arts have access to quality educational information.

He said the video e-learning would give senior secondary school students unlimited access to thousands of the world’s best classes on all their school subjects.

He said that the educational outfit, which had in the last six years catered for the educational need of students across the country, just introduced the website this month.

“We introduced the website in order to reshape the academic space in Nigeria and the services offered on the platform will help senior secondary students to have unlimited access to the website’s library with ready-to help teachers who are always online.

“The website will also help students interact with the global academic community and share academic ideas which will broaden their knowledge.

“It will also help students who have understanding of grey areas in any subject and have access to competent standby on-line teachers who are ever willing to proffer immediate solutions,’’ Popoola said.

On why the platform was created, Popoola said the inspiration behind the mobile class academy website was based on a publication he came across on the state of education in Nigeria.

“Some years ago, while I travelled to England, I came across a newspaper publication which said 11 million Nigerian do not have access to quality education and a recent UNESCO report of 2015 put the number of Nigerians that cannot access quality education at 54 million.

“As we all know, quality education is very expensive here in Nigeria. So we decided to bring quality education to the doorstep of our senior secondary school students in Nigeria via our platform,’’ he said.

He said that the website could be accessed by the students on their phones, tablets, laptops, desktop, tablets or other connected devices by signing up via the website.

“All the senior secondary school students need to do is to sign up via our website at www.mcaclasses.com and have unlimited access to the educational materials.

“ I am also confident that if all senior secondary school students sign up and put the website to effective use, there is a guarantee of reduction in failure rate in national and international exams,’’ he said. (NAN)
