Jos, April 2, 2018 (NAN) The Plateau Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr Bulus Dabit, has said that Easter celebration should remind Nigerians of the need to make sacrifices for the country’s greatness.

Dabit, who stated this in Jos on Monday in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria, noted that Easter was being celebrated due to the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for mankind.

He said the celebration should, therefore, be a period of reflection for Nigerians to make conscious efforts to work for the nation’s advancement in all fields of human endeavour.

In a related development, Pastor Tajan Moltok, the Jos Resident Pastor of Shepherd House International Assembly, urged Christians to imbibe Jesus Christ’s teachings in their undertakings.

Moltok, who said this in an interview with NAN, noted that Easter was a time of sober reflection for Christians to live aright as Christ did.

Also, Mrs Mairo Sani, an official of the Federation of Muslim Women Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN) in Plateau, tasked youths to have a peaceful Easter celebration.

Sani urged the youths to cooperate with their parents and guardians as they strive to train them to be better in life. (NAN)
