Youths
By Victor Adeoti
Osogbo, Feb.26, 2017 (NAN) The Senior Pastor of Living Faith Church, Osogbo, Pastor Dapo Olumuyiwa, said rather than depending solely on academic certificate, youths should learn how to be creative.
Olumiyi said this during the church’s end of the month thanksgiving service in Osogbo on Sunday.
The pastor said Nigerian youths should not allow their academic certificate to ‘imprison them’.
Reading from Proverbs 18 vs 16, Olumiyiwa, said every man was gifted by God to be productive.
The verse said that ‘’A man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men’’.
According to the cleric, if youths were creative, their academic certificate would only be a plus to their fortune and not the determinant factor for their breakthrough.
He further said if people were creative in turning dry yam to poundo yam to make money, then, youths should look beyond their certificate to earn a living.
Turning to Christians, the cleric urged them to learn to give thanks to God, saying God is the giver of life and deserve our thanksgiving.(NAN)
