Abuja, June 9, 2017 (NAN) The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has fixed July 4, for ruling in a case of alleged unpaid one month salary filed by one Peter Hallebach, against the Travelfix Company Limited.

Hallebach, a German, joined one of the directors of the company, Mr Samuel Ajose, as a respondent in the suit.

The German was asking for damages from the company for alleged breach of contract and general damages as a result of expenses incurred by the breach.

The presiding judge, Justice Edith Agbakoba, fixed the date after listening to the submission of the claimant’s counsel, Mr Kelechi Oparaku.

Oparaku brought a motion seeking the leave of the court for the claimant to amend his processes.

The court fixed July 4 to rule on the application, which was not opposed by Mr F. Odeyade, counsel to the respondents.

Odeyade, however, asked the court to order the claimant to pay N50, 000 as cost.

Opposing the request, Oparaku, said that the application for cost was not necessary because the respondents have not suffered any injury. (NAN)
