Istanbul, May 3, 2017 (dpa/NAN) An opposition Member of Parliament in Turkey was ordered released on Wednesday after four months in detention, a report said.

The court in Batman in the country’s south-east said Besime Konca from the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP), should be released on certain conditions.

Konca, who was arrested in Siirt province in December, was reportedly accused of being a member of and spreading propaganda for a terrorist organisation.

Two other HDP representatives were released two weeks ago.

Ten remain behind bars, including the party’s co-chiefs Selahattin Demirtas and Figen Yuksekdag. (dpa/NAN)
