Ikorodu ( Lagos State), Jan. 23, 2017 (NAN) An Ikorodu Customary Court on Monday in Lagos granted a couple partial separation after the husband had sought divorce of the 20-year-old marriage.

The Court’s President, Mrs Omolara Abiola, granted them partial separation of six months to check if there could be possible reconciliation.

Abiola ordered that the respondent and mother of three children, Mrs Adetutu Osofuye, 50, remained in the husband’s apartment, pending the final decision of the court.

“The husband must also pay the children’s feeding allowance through this honourable court,’’ she ordered.

The husband, Mr Osofuye Aderemi, a 62-year-old Civil Servant, had in May 2016, sought the divorce of his marriage to his wife over trouble making.

However, the respondent had denied all the allegations levelled against her by her husband.

“My husband is not saying the truth. He wants to send me packing because of a woman in the house.

“I did not meet any woman in his life when I met him but he later brought his so called first wife again when we got married.

“Presently, my husband has three wives, l did not make any trouble with him, he just wants to send me parking. Please help me beg him, ‘’ she said. (NAN)
