Court awards custody of 4 children to father

By Usman Aliyu Ilorin, Nov. 15, 2016 (NAN) An Ilorin Area Court on Tuesday awarded the custody of four children from a separated couple to their father for upbringing.
The court, however, granted the mother access to the children whenever she so wishes.
The presiding judge, Mr AbdulQuadir Ibrahim, while delivering the judgment in a case of children custody between the estranged couple, Taiye Ishola and Taiye Ishola, also averred that the children had the right to visit their mother anytime.
The wife sought for the custody of the children following the marriage dissolution.
The children are Adam, 16; Mustapha, 12; Fatima, 10, and Samsudeen 5.
The plaintiff through her counsel, Abdulwahab Issa, had pleaded with the court to grant her access to the children, when the defendant said he would not allow her an access to his house. (NAN) AUO/MST/MST
