Abuja,Feb.16,2017 (NAN) The National Industrial Court, Abuja, has adjourned till May 3, hearing in the case of alleged unlawful termination of appointment instituted by Simon Etukudo, against the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC).
Etukudo was a senior staff of FRSC before his alleged sack in 2015 by the commission.
The claimant is praying the court to declare the alleged termination of his appointment from the service of the FRSC as unlawful.
He is also asking the court’s intervention to declare that the alleged termination of his appointment did not follow due process.
The aggrieved officer further prayed the court to order his reinstatement and payment of all his salaries and other benefits from 2015.
At the resumed hearing on Thursday, the claimant’s counsel, Mr Michael Abang, told the court that he had a pending application before the court.
Moving the application, Abang said that he is seeking the leave of court to amend the complaint of the claimant.
Counsel to the respondent, Mr C. Odoh, did not oppose the motion.
Justice Rakiya Haastrup, subsequently, adjourned the case till May 3 for definite hearing.(NAN)
