Abuja, April 1, 2017 (NAN) The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) has predicted partly cloudy weather conditions over the Central States of the country on Sunday.
NiMet made the prediction in its Weather Outlook by the Central Forecast Office (CFO) on Saturday in Abuja.
It added that the region would have day and night temperature of 36 to 40 and18 to 27 degrees Celsius respectively during the forecast period.
The agency predicted that southern states would experience cloudiness over the inland and coastal cities in the morning hours.
It also predicted isolated thunderstorms over the region later in the day with day and night temperatures of 31to 35 and 22 to 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
According to NiMet, northern states will experience moderate dust haze conditions in visibility of two to five kilometers with day and temperature of 37 to 39 and 17 to 29 degrees Celsius respectively.
“Moderate dust haze is anticipated over some parts of the northern cities and isolated thunderstorms over the southern cities with high temperature values over most parts of the country,’’ NiMet predicted. (NAN)
