Minna, March 24, 2017 (NAN) A Muslim cleric, Sheikh Ibrahim Fari, on Friday, preached love, respect and tolerance among Muslims and non-Muslims for peaceful and fruitful living.

He said this in his sermon at Minna Mosque.

He explained that Muslims were expected to love and respect one another, irrespective of religious, ethnic and political differences.

He added that good Muslims must always love for their brothers what they love for themselves, as well as respect and honour their neighbours.

He urged wealthy Nigerians to support the needy and stressed the need for
prayers for leaders, adding that “prayers from followers will attract God’s intervention in the nation affairs.

“We must be seen to be wishing our leaders well in ensuring good democratic governance.

“Nigerians, irrespective of religion, tribe or political leanings, should be seen to live happily for peace, progress and political stability in our country.’’  (NAN)
