Jos, Jan 15, 2017(NAN) Pastor Paul Ojoh of Shepherd House International Assembly, Jos has said that good plans could only work with the right strategy.

“ It is not enough to have a good plan; one must have the right strategy to pursue that plan to fruition,” Ojoh said in a sermon on Sunday in Jos.

The cleric, in the sermon titled: “Strategy for another kind of them’’, said that plans must be well examined and thought out, pointing out that strategies for success must be anchored along spiritual and physical means.

“For the spiritual means, the strategy for obedience must be complied; there is a condition for a blessing – adhere to the word of God.

“ You must pray for blessings otherwise God can change his good plans for you if you do not obey him,” he said.

The Pastor emphasised the need for spiritual principles which encompasses tithes and offerings, as well as obeying the law on the first fruits.

He cautioned people against mixing seed sowing with tithes and offering, stressing that they all had different interpretations and blessings.

“Do not give your tithes to the less privileged; you have to give it to someone with higher anointing because it serves as a covering for you, the blessings you get through giving to the less privileged is different from tithing.”

Quoting Proverbs 9.1, he said that the first fruit represented the increase in one’s income.

“ It may not be at the beginning of the year, but any increase in your income is your first fruit.

“ Many people misunderstand first fruit to mean the whole of your income in the month of January, but it is only the increase. If there is no increase in your income, then you do not give the first fruit,” he explained.

Ojoh prayed for the manifestation of the good plans God has for His people, as well as the grace and wisdom to work out strategies to actualize them. (NAN)
