Benin, Dec. 26, 2018 (NAN) Miss Charity Osifo, a Candidate of the Mass Action Alliance (MAJA), for the Edo House of Assembly election, has urged privileged Nigerians to be their brothers keepers as the Yuletide season preaches love and sharing.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Osifo made the call shortly after she feted some destitudes and physically challenged people in Benin in the spirit of Yuletide.

Osifo, who is contesting for the Oredo West seat of the Assembly, said that what the country needed in its quest for a better society was the virtues of our Lord Jesus Christ as demonstrated.

According her, ”I think it is only human for us to always think of the weak and vulnerable among us that we care.

”It doesn’t have to be during festive period to share with the less privilege. This is something we must all imbibe.”

She said the 2019 general elections would enable Nigerians to change their fortunes for good.

”I want to use this opportunity to call on all Nigerians not to sell their votes in the 2019 general elections.

”With our votes we can decide and direct the ship of the country,” the candidate said. (NAN)
