Kano, Feb. 23, 2017 (NAN) The Kano State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Tourism has drawn the attention of the public especially trade groups and cooperatives to beware of some dubious people.
This is contained in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano on Thursday by the Public Relations officer of the Ministry, Alhaji Salisu Babangida.

According to the statement, the dubious characters were currently collecting various amount of money from unsuspecting traders in respect of a form on zero loan interest programme of the Bank of Industry.

The statement said the Commissioner in charge of the ministry, Alhaji Rabiu Ahmad advised the groups to desist from giving any amount of money before obtaining the form.

It said that some of the dubious people had been arrested and they had been handed over to security agencies for further investigation.

The Commissioner therefore urged traders not to give money to any group under fake pretext as the form is being distributed free of charge. (NAN)
