The event also featured a launch and public presentation of a book entitled “Ethics, Values and National Security’’ written by the Director General of NTA and Dr Bashir Ibrahim.

While commending the authors, the SGF however, charged participants to proffer solutions to challenges facing the nation, noting that the federal government would continue to ensure good governance and accountability.

On his part, Gov. Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi expressed confidence in the ability of President Muhammadu Buhari to rescue Nigeria from its security and economic challenges.

“It doesn’t matter what other people say, if one considers the fact that the President took over at a time when the cost of oil at the international market came as low as 28 dollars per barrel and inherited a foreign reserve of 29 billion dollars and the country went into immediate recession.

“Within the short period of two years Mr President got this country out of recession; within the same period, Mr President grew the foreign reserve from the abysmal 29 billion to over 40 billion dollars as we speak today.
