Lagos, Dec. 19, 2016 (NAN) Rev. Emmanuel Adeniran, the District Superintendent, Apostolic Faith, West Africa, on Monday urged Nigerians to follow the path of righteousness to attract God’s favour.

“I believe that God has an agenda for Nigeria, and we should pray Him to come in and help us.
We should also support our leaders, who work in righteousness, against corruption and work toward bringing us to the path of orderliness and rectitude.
“We cannot continue in our old ways and say grace should abide.
“When corruption leaves this country, renewal will come power of God will return to us, smiles will still come to the face of Nigerians.”

“This economic quagmire in which we are is part of a cycle and it will soon blow away.
“We should not be so disappointed and think that we will continue to go down and down.
Yes we are in recession, but what does recession mean, just an event in one’s life cycle, and by the special grace of God we will soon turn the corner.
“If all hands are on deck and we work very hard, this time next year we will look back and say thank God we are out of recession.
“But it depends on you and I and what we will make of the situation in which we find ourselves.
“Nigerians should begin to prepare for the next round of prosperity by learning new skills, by ensuring that we try to do things better, so that when fortune turns our way again we will not fritter it as we did before.
“And for me that is a learning point instead of just sitting down and bemoaning our situations we should roll up our sleeves and get ready for another round of our recovery which by the grace of God will come.’’
